Brilliant IRTS officer Anup satpathy promoted to Higher Administrative Grade

New Delhi/ Gorakhpur/ Bhubaneswar ( KCN) :
Anup satpathy who is an IRTS officer of 1993 Batch and presently posted as Principal Chief Operations Manager of North Eastern Railway at Gorakhpur, UP has been recently confirmed in the Higher Administrative Grade( HAG). In his illustrious career, Mr Satpathy has worked in many parts of Indian Rlys and earned a reputation for quick and bold decisions, safety consciousness, pro-customer attitude, employee friendly behavior, transparency and no- nonsense style of working. Beginning his career as Area Manager of the CIC area of Bilaspur Divn at Sahdol, he earned a great deal of fame in every post that he held including as Senior Divisional Operations Manager at Chakradharpur Divn of South Eastern Railways and again in Nagpur Division of SECR. Then , as Chief General Manager of the Container Corporation of India at Nagpur he took the business of that organisation to the next level before joining as Additional DRM of Nagpur Divn of Central Railway. His good name, popularity and glory reached really tizzy heights at Visakhapatnam where he served as the best remembered DRM and took revolutionary steps in every conceivable field of governance in Railway . Because of his passenger centric and courageous steps the rail users as well as the staff of Waltair Division had started fondly referring to him as People’s DRM, Waltair Viraya etc. The Division also excelled in every parameter of performance. His remarkable achievements were acknowledged by the higher management when Waltair begged 14 Efficiency Shields out of the 22 given by the ECoR zone to all the Divisions in it’s jurisdiction.
Now, as he got confirmation in the HAG, there is a feeling of satisfaction among large sections of the Railwaycofficers, staff and members of the public known to him.
